Cabin Bed
A Cabin Bed is a children’s single bed with lots of built in storage. They will usually come in one of two main styles; High Sleepers, often referred to as a Captains Bed and Mid Sleeper Cabin Beds.
There are many style options available when choosing a Cabin Bed, but generally speaking they can be thought of as a bunk bed, but with only one bed and the rest being given to additional storage.
Cabin Beds give you valuable storage space
As most homeowners will tell you, there’s never enough storage space. Now, ask a parent the same question and you can be sure they’ll all agree - the shortage of storage space is a nightmare.
An ideal bed for older children
Cabin Beds usually see the sleeping platform quite high from the ground. So, they’re not best suited to younger children who may injure themselves if they fall out of bed. For older children however, they’re a fabulous solution which allows you to squeeze every last bit of space from their bedroom.
